Here is a nice Celtic Shield Brooch marked with Ward Brothers initials. The piece is also marked “Sterling Silver W.B. s.” The shield is about 1 3/4-inch diameter. It has 4 rings of pattern. The outer ring is floral and leaves. The next ring appears to be scalloped designs followed by a ring of small domes. The last ring is domes, dots and lines. The center of the brooch is finished off with an amber colored faceted stone. I have not tested

The brooch is in good used condition. The pin is slightly bent. It also has a box that is labeled Carrick Scotland. The box has several rust colored stains.
