My father collected these coins while stationed in India during World War Two. The highlights of this collection are the 6 rupee coins (1942 one rupee , 1944 1/4 rupee, two 1945 half rupee, and two 1/4 rupee) all of which contain 50% silver.
In addition to the rupee coins, this collection includes: 1919 one quarter anna,; 1919 2 annas,; 1927 1 anna,; 1936 one quarter anna; 1937 three pence; 1939 1 anna; two 1939 1/12 anna; 1942 1 anna,; 1944 2 annas; two 1944 1/2 anna; 1945 2 annas; two 1945 1 anna; 1945 1/2 anna; and 1945 1 pice.
In my opinion, all of the coins, except the 1919 one quarter anna, are in good to very good condition.
